Chaturbate, Stripchat and CamSoda are three of the biggest live cam sites, and they work in similar ways: free public shows paid for by tips. But they differ in size, prices, features and the kind of experience they offer. Here's how they compare in 2026.
Prices and features change often. Check each site for current details. Live room counts below come from ModelTrackr's own tracking unless stated otherwise.
Quick verdict
- Chaturbate: the biggest choice of free public rooms and the most active community. Best if you want variety and don't mind a busier layout.
- Stripchat: a more polished interface and stronger built-in filters. Best if you value design and easy browsing on mobile.

Chaturbate
Chaturbate launched in 2011 and celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2026 with a brand refresh (what CB15 means). Its strength is scale:
- Size: on a weekday afternoon (UTC) in October 2026, ModelTrackr counted 8,727 live rooms with about 950,000 viewers watching at the same time.
- Free public shows: you can watch most rooms without an account.
- Community: busy chats, room goals and tip menus run by apps, which give each room its own personality.
- Variety: about 24,000 female, 10,500 male, 3,400 trans and 1,700 couple rooms among the rooms we track.
Downsides: the interface can feel busy, and discovery relies heavily on tags. That's where tools like ModelTrackr's Discover page or our AI Agent help.
Stripchat
Stripchat launched in 2016 and has grown into one of Chaturbate's main competitors.
- Interface: generally seen as cleaner and more modern, especially on mobile.
- Filters: detailed category filters, with the number of live models shown next to each one.
- Tip menus built in: no third-party bots needed.
- Extras: VR shows and frequent token bonuses on some payment methods.
Downsides: fewer free-to-watch public rooms than Chaturbate, and more upselling to paid features.
CamSoda
CamSoda is smaller than both, but it has some formats you won't find elsewhere.
- Voyeur-style rooms: passive, home-style streams that run for hours.
- Spy mode at a low per-minute price.
- Small token packs are available, which helps if you just want to try it.
Downsides: far fewer models online at any time, so less variety. Small packs also cost more per token.
Which is more interactive: CamSoda or Chaturbate?
Both support interactive toys, private shows and tip menus. Chaturbate generally feels more interactive in public rooms, because its chats are bigger and its room-goal and tip-menu culture is strong. CamSoda offers a few more unusual formats. If "interactive" means a busy chat and real-time toy reactions, Chaturbate wins on volume.
Which site has the most traffic?
Exact visitor numbers are only published by analytics companies, and they vary. What we can measure directly: Chaturbate regularly has 8,000+ live rooms and close to a million simultaneous viewers at peak times. Analytics companies consistently rank both Chaturbate and Stripchat among the most visited adult sites in the world.
