If Chaturbate looks different from what you remember, you're not imagining it. As part of its 15th anniversary (CB15, from March 2026), Chaturbate gave the site a refreshed look and new discovery features. This guide covers what changed, how to find your way around, and the keyboard shortcuts that actually help.
What changed in Chaturbate's new look?
Chaturbate described its 2026 update as a "makeover" for its 15th birthday. The main changes announced:
- A refreshed brand identity: new visual style across the site;
- Expanded discovery tools to help viewers find performers;
- Better visibility for broadcasters, so more rooms get seen, not just the biggest ones;
- New creator tools and safety features.

Finding your way around
The basics haven't moved, even if they look different:
- Home page: a grid of live rooms, sorted by popularity by default.
- Categories: Female, Male, Couple and Trans rooms each have their own section.
- Tags: click a tag (like #lovense or #latina) on any room to see live rooms with the same tag. Our guide to Chaturbate tags explains the most useful ones.
- Followed: once you follow a model, they appear in your followed list when they're online.
- Search: finds rooms by name. Results focus on rooms that are live.
Tip: Chaturbate's listings only show rooms that are online. To find a model who's offline, open chaturbate.com/username directly, or use a Chaturbate model finder that includes offline rooms.
Chaturbate keyboard shortcuts
Chaturbate doesn't publish an official list of keyboard shortcuts, and there's no built-in "next room" key. These shortcuts work in any browser and make browsing much faster:
| Shortcut | What it does |
|---|---|
| Ctrl+click (Cmd+click on Mac) | Open a room in a new tab without leaving the grid |
| Ctrl+Tab / Ctrl+Shift+Tab | Jump to the next / previous tab (the closest thing to "next model") |
| Ctrl+W (Cmd+W) | Close the current room's tab |
| Ctrl+Shift+T (Cmd+Shift+T) | Reopen a room you closed by mistake |
| F11 | Browser fullscreen |
| Ctrl+F (Cmd+F) | Find a username or word on the page |
| Ctrl + / Ctrl - | Zoom in or out on the room grid |
How to go to the next model on Chaturbate: the quickest method is to Ctrl+click several rooms from the grid to open them in tabs, then use Ctrl+Tab to move from one to the next.
Watching several rooms at once
Switching tabs works, but if you like keeping an eye on several models, it's easier to see them side by side. ModelTrackr's Multi-Cam lets you watch several live Chaturbate rooms on one screen, with sound on whichever one you choose.
Want a surprise?
If you just want to see someone new, ModelTrackr's shuffle button (the crossed-arrows icon at the top of the page) opens a random live model. On ModelTrackr, Ctrl+K also opens search from anywhere, including offline models.
Is there a Chaturbate app?
Chaturbate works in the mobile browser, and that's how most people use it. For notifications when your favourites go live, you don't need an app: ModelTrackr can send phone alerts straight from your browser. Add it to your home screen for an app-like experience.
Make the new Chaturbate work for you
The redesign makes discovering rooms easier, but it doesn't tell you when your favourite models are going to be online. ModelTrackr fills that gap:
- Alerts within about a minute of a model going live;
- Schedules showing when each model usually streams;
- An AI Agent that finds live rooms from a simple description.
